Just a quick call to congratulate you & your team, on yet another great shoot.You should know we travell a long way down from the North of England, to shoot at your ground, & its well worth the two hours in the car to get to you.

What we like about your ground is that the staff are all so friendly, & the shoot is always interesting. We havent been to your shoot & shot the same targets twice. Is a shame some of the other grounds don't follow your lead..................

Just a few words to say a "BIG" thank you for facilitating our selection shoot yesterday. It was a really good day with excellent targets............ . Everyone I spoke with had thoroughly enjoyed the shoot and the day............ Presentation of the shoot and the targets could not have been better and an all round 'excellent shoot'.

Again thanks to you both for making us so welcome, and to all of your staff for a most excellent day.

Another fantastic shoot...........you keep on giving us new targets, from the same site, week after week, Its nice to shoot some where that can be bothered to change the birds for every shoot. Well Done. ! We will be back again soon.

On sunday 13th March I brought my daughter with me to watch, whilst I  shot the sporting layout. We had travelled over an hour and a half to get to Kegworth, & had never been to you before, so we did not know what to expect. We were very pleasantly supprised , unlike our local ground, you have ample good car parking, & the clubroom was clean & tidy,& the staff were very friendly & helpfull, giving us information on what was available, on the day, & generally making us feel very  welcome.

I proceeeded to shoot the sporting layout, which was excellect, both for myself a B class shooter, but there were enough difficult targets that I could see there were targets for shooters of all abilities. I did not shoot patricularly well, but was particularly pleased with the referees & ground staff, who were both friendly & polite but also very helpful, & welcoming. It is always nice to be well recieved in a new place, & indeed one instructor took time out to allow my daughter a few shots under instruction, on a practice stand free of charge. Having never shot before, she was delighted to hit her first clay pigeon, & I would just like to thank you all for a memorable & thouroughly enjoyable day. I shall look forward to returning to your ground again soon.

The 2011 East Midlands Regional FITASC Championships 20th March

This event............ was a sell out, with all eighteen squads fully booked,

The course set by John Wroughton & Keith Roe was  said by those who shot, to be the best layout yet at the ground., comments to the team included,

" Fantastic targets, sencible, but very testing"

"Great shoot, & congratulations to the team, Book all our squad in for the next one"

" Fantastic birds, shame some were not in the right place.....Not where I was shooting ! "

Thanks must also go to our referees, who made the event run exceptionally well .

1.    "A Really great shoot,I thoroughly enjoyed it, and am looking forward to the next one."

2.    "We came to your shoot again, although we have to travel down from Bolton, as the last time we came to your ground we were impressed with the friendly & welcoming reception from the staff & referees. The targets werre a little tough, but we thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. This time when we arrived we were suprised to see that it was a totally different layout, not a single cage or trap was the same,

FANTASTIC.! Again the shoot was brilliant, & such a nice change to see somewhere that bothers to give the shooters different targets, well done. We shall keep on coming, & tell our friends, whilst the shoots are this good, best regards"

On a Sunday in June

On sunday 27th june my friend and i shot the 100 bird sporting (we had a weekend boys shooting trip from Co Durham). This is the first time i have ever sent an email to a ground, but i felt i had to in this case. We received a really friendly welcome from staff and other shooters, the targets, a good balance of well thought out birds. But the reason for writing this is to compliment the trappers, they were the most friendly and obliging we have ever met, a real boon to the ground. I will certainly recommend Kegworth shooting ground to anyone and everyone, and will look forward to going there in the future.
